CONNECTION MINISTRY
The Connection Ministry meets and greets all of our guests following the Sunday services at the Connection Center. They hand out information packets to our guests and present them with a small gift from our Church Body.
The Team makes follow phone calls later in the week to answer any questions and to invite them back the following week.
We request that people from all walks of life and cultures volunteer for this ministry. Training is provided. If you interested in joining the Connection Ministry, please contact Pastor Jason Carter.

USHERS
The Usher Ministry has an important role within our church.
The individuals that serve in this capacity are responsible for assisting people during the worship service by handing out bulletins, overseeing the service in general, and assisting people where needed.
As our church continues to grow in size, we are looking for more individuals to serve in this capacity.

SECURITY
The goal of the Security Ministry is to maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the church during all services. Team members work in different areas of the church. Some may sit in the service and monitor the events that take place there while others may patrol the hallways and check on other events taking place within the church.

TRANSPORTATION
The goals of the transportation ministry are two fold; to make transportation available for those who wish to attend Glad Tidings Church AND to help and encourage them to become part of the Glad Tidings family.
The van ministry is really about having a heart to serve those who have no other means of transportation so that they can be active parts of the Glad Tidings Church body.
We are currently looking for qualified servants to become part of this very important ministry. The requirements we are looking for in van drivers are:
A good driving record
A knowledge of the layout of the city or the willingness to learn
The ability to assist people into the van
A course on how to use a child safety seat
The willingness to pray and encourage one another

CHURCH WORK
Many hands make light work! Volunteers are needed on a weekly, monthly, or "as needed" basis to do light custodial jobs such as picking communion cups and replacing tithe envelopes, facility repairs, and a variety of construction projects. Also, painters, plumbers, electricians, and "handy man" types are often needed.
