PASTOR'S NOTE

We were blessed to have David and Nancy Ravenhill with us last weekend. I trust you were challenged by his message. I know I was.

It is very easy to lose perspective on God’s ways. It is very easy to want to fit God into our 21st century, American ways. But God’s ways are different. He has a way of preparing us for His plan that involves desperation, waiting, and lots of other uncomfortable times. I am thankful for being reminded of God’s ways and God’s values last weekend.

This summer, I want to strongly encourage you to come to the prayer meeting on Wednesday nights. Pastor Bob is doing a special series for the children—so your kids don’t have to be registered for Royal Rangers or Missionettes to come. The summer is the perfect time to really take time to turn our complete attention to Him. I believe God is desiring to meet with us and speak to us. We must be waiting and listening to hear what He is saying.
