PLEDGES
With our celebration of reaching the world at our “Spring Missions Conference”, we would like to give an update as to where we stand in our missions giving since our 2007 “Fall Missions Conference”. We want to thank each and every one of you for your sacrificial giving to world missions. Due to your giving, we are able to support seventy-four Missionaries and Missionary organizations in the United States and around the world! Praise God!
We are experiencing one of our best years in recent church history with your fulfillment of “Missions Faith Promises” made at our “Fall Missions Conference”. We are currently receiving 61% of the monies pledged with your “Faith Promises”. The total dollars promised at our “Fall Missions Conference” was $378,236.00 or $7,274.00 per week. We are currently averaging $4,448.82 per week.
There may be many reasons why those who made “Faith Promises” have been unable to fulfill those promises either partially or completely. We encourage you to allow God to ‘stretch you’ in this area so that we may meet current and future mission needs.
PROJECTS
Glad Tidings has a heart for Missions. We regularly have missionaries come and speak to our church body about what God is doing through them in different parts of the world. We want to share their vision and inform you of what Glad Tidings is doing to further His ministry.
PASTOR TY SCHENZEL
The Hope Center
Glad Tidings took an offering for Pastor Ty and the Hope Center during our Springs Missions Conference. We were able to raise over $8700 for their ministry. Thank you church for your generosity and vision.
PASTOR PAUL MALCOMSON
Walthill Firehall
Thank YOU, Glad Tidings, for giving over $10,000 to Fire Hall Gospel Church in Walt Hill, NE. If you did not have the opportunity to see the short video of Pastor Paul, you can view it to the left. To see and hear from a person who hears God and obeys--literally selling all he has to move across the world to a reach a people he doesn’t know--WOW. May men and women like him be called and sent from THIS house is our prayer.
May we all continue to grow in the grace of trusting God at his word. And may we continue to grow in the grace of giving for God’s kingdom’s advancement on earth.
An Update from Pastor Paul
Pastor Walt,
I apologise for not getting back to you sooner. I have been preaching 4 times a week. In between times I have been pretty busy.
I would just like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love and generosity of you, your pastors, staff and congregation. It has been such a blessing to us at this embryo stage of our ministry in Walthill.
We have been so mightily encouraged by the vision that you have for the native American Indians and for those of all nationalities, colours and creeds in our land. We are united in our common burden for the lost. We share the desire with you for a mighty Holy Ghost Revival. We long to see our churches full with penitent hearts – yearning for reality, yearning for Christ.
The fields are indeed white onto harvest, and the labourers are few, yet in His wisdom God has chosen to use vessels like ourselves in this hour to share the unsearchable riches of Christ (and His righteousness). We owe it to this generation to share this great hope with them. They need to hear that there is an answer to their awful bondage and a way out of the horrible pit of sin that they find themselves in – His name is Jesus.
I will finish by, once again, expressing a BIG thank you to you all, and reiterate our enormous appreciation of every bit of encouragement and help that we have received from you. We look forward to renewing fellowship soon and enjoying the wonderful presence of the Lord that accompanies love and unity amongst the brethren.
