The 10/40 Window is that part of the world least touched by the Gospel. It is a rectangle extending from 10 degrees north of the equator to 40 degrees north of the equator. It spans North Africa, the Middle East and into eastern Asia, a total of 67 countries.
While people in the rest of the world have an excellent chance to be exposed to the Gospel many times, those living in the 10/40 Window have almost no chance of ever hearing the Gospel - not even once.
There are six billion people in the world today. Four billion live in the 10/40 Window. Every major non-Christian religion is headquartered here: Islam, Buddhism and Hinduism along with indigenous religions and millions of people who have no religious beliefs at all.
Child prostitution is rampant, malnutrition is on the increase, and millions are without parental guidance. Over 90% of the people are the poorest of the world's poor.
Only 15% of all missionaries or full time Christian workers are serving in the 10/40 Window. Thousands and thousands more are still needed. Please see
