Mom to Mom Group
Thursday mornings
10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
On May 8th we will begin meeting every second and fourth Thursday of the month from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon in room 170 through the summer. Child care will be provided so you can relax and have some uninterrupted adult conversation time. We will be using a book titled “What Every Mom Needs”. Topics in this book include:
1) Identity : I Want to find “Me” Again
2) Growth: I Want to Develop “Me”
3) Relationship: I Want Someone to Understand Me
4) Help: I Want Some Help!
5) Perspective: I Want to Focus on What Matters
6) Hope: I Want to Find Deeper Meaning in Life.

Women's Prayer
Thursday mornings
10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
Women’s prayer meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday’s of each month in room 80. Child care is provided. The Women’s Prayer Group is facilitated by Rose Moss.

Saturday Workshops
Bring a friend, bring your mom, bring your daughter and let’s have fun! Saturday Specials are a wonderful time to get to know other women as well as a new skill. The morning will begin at 9:30 A.M. and end around 11:30. There will be several workshops to choose from.
There are Saturday Workshops scheduled for June and November. If you have a particular skill to share let us know. Some of the workshops ideas that we have planned are tamale making, gardening, pie baking, theme parties, trash to treasures, women’s health issues, hair, makeup, fashion and more!

2008 Women's Conference
Glad Tidings Women's Ministry will be holding a Women's Conference this August in the West Fellowship Hall on Friday, Aug. 8th at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 9th at 9:30 a.m. Our guest speaker will be Julaine Christensen.
After thirty years in fulltime Christian ministry, Julaine's passion & vision remain the same:
“The passionate pursuit of God in radical obedience to His call of bringing a fresh fire of His extravagant love to the lost and dying and to the church.
I want to boldly proclaim the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth. I want to bring a fresh wind of His Presence to both the lost and to the church. I join with the great men and women of history in proclaiming the Good News and that signs, wonders and miracles are for today.
My heart is to begin to bring generations together in a powerful demonstration of the power and presence of God through worship and the Word. It is time to pass the mantle. You see, my passion is to bring God's presence into a service and then teach others how to live daily in that place of intimate relationship with Christ."

Joyce Meyer Women's Conference
Women’s Ministry will be sponsoring a bus trip to the Joyce Meyer Women’s Conference in St. Louis, MO October 2 -4, 2008. We will be leaving early October 2nd traveling by Arrow Stage Lines bus and returning late Saturday October 4th. The cost for the trip is $200 per person. A deposit of $100 is needed by August 1st and the balance by September 1st. The cost includes transportation, hotel and conference admission. Meals are not included. We will have snacks, games, videos and prizes while on the trip. Space is limited, early registration is a must.
