Welcome to Glad Tidings Women's Ministry. We are a ministry within Glad Tidings Church that "loves the Lord our God with all of our heart, with all of our soul and all of our mind and loves our neighbor as ourselves." Matt. 22:37-39. This scripture is the master plan for Women's Ministry here at Glad Tidings Church. Everything that we do we need to do it out of our perfect love for Him.
We believe that prayer is the foundation for the master plan of this ministry. Assemblies of God Women's Ministries was birthed out of a prayer movement and followed by ministry to missionaries as well as other women and young girls.
There are so many avenues for women to pursue ministry within the body of Christ. We haven't yet begun to scratch the surface of what the Father has for each one of us. His desire is for each one of us to love Him more that anything else and to love others as He loves us. All true ministry flows from putting Him first and foremost, then we may see His heart for others.
We are currently in the process of developing ministries within the ministry to allow us to become more effective for the Kingdom. The individual ministries will include Prayer, Care, Share and Special Events.
The prayer ministry will be include times of corporate prayer, praying for special needs and healings. Care ministry involves ministering by preparing meals for families with a sick family member or however we can care for someone in a time of need. Share ministry will involve ministry to homeless and less fortunate and of course Special Events will be to help organize and set up and take down for our corporate events. Women need to love and be loved by one another. God has given each one of us that need and we are attempting to provide avenues to promote friendships with other women of like Spirit. Join us, we can't wait to get to know YOU!
