The Homeschool Support Group meets once a month to encourage each other in our homeschooling journey as well as life. Both veteran and new comers to the homeschooling community understand the need to gleen wisdom and strength from each other as well as develop relationships.
With the vast amount of opportunities within the Omaha metro area for activites for the students, the support group meetings are limited to mothers and nursing infants. The meetings give parents an opportunity to discuss problems and solutions in educating at home. We also take time to pray with, and for each other.
These meetings are open to all homeschoolers and people interested in homeschooling in the metro area, not just the members of Glad Tidings church. If you are new to the area, or are looking for some "adult time" with like minded people, join us!
We currently meet the first Monday of the month (unless it is a holiday) at 7 p.m. at the Perkins at 72nd and Grover. Come for coffee, water or a full meal, whatever fits into your lifestyle. For questions or more information about the Homeschool Support Group, e-mail
