A miracle is received.
A human instrument is not used; it is all God

Working of Miracles
What is a miracle?
Something that happens contrary to the know laws of science or nature.
What is the working of miracles?
The supernatural intervention of God, using an instrument (usually a human being) in which the laws of nature are suspended, altered or controlled.
What are the distinctive characteristics of the working of miracles?
God uses the one through whom the gift operates to actually "work" the miracle.
An instrument, human or otherwise, is always involved.
