101 - Commitment to Membership

In class 101, you will discover what it means to be a Christian, and why becoming a member of Glad Tidings Church is important for you Christian growth.

  • Discover the vision, strategy, and doctrinal believes of Glad Tidings
  • Understand the meaning of Water Baptism and the Lord's Supper
  • Apply for church membership

201 - Commitment to Maturity
In Class 201, you will discover how to grow up in Christ by developing habits in your life. These four habits of a growing disciple include:

  • God's Word - How to hear, read, study, memorize, meditate, and apply it in your life
  • Prayer - How to begin a daily quiet time, and how to pray using the Lord's Prayer
  • Tithing - Discover the seven benefits of giving, and eight reasons why God wants us to tithe
  • Cell Groups - How being connected to a cell group is a must for spiritual growth

301 - Commitment to Ministry
In Class 301, you will discover how God has uniquely shaped you to serve in ministry. It's an exciting class where you will assess who you are [your shape], and commit to where God is calling you to serve.

401 - Commitment to Mission
In Class 401, you will discover how to share Jesus in a persona, non-threatening way. This class will equip you with the questions and answers you need to share Jesus. Here are a few things you will explore:

  • How to share your testimony in a clear way
  • The use of the Law, conviction, and repentance when sharing Jesus
  • How to measure a person's heart attitude toward God using Step Up to Life
  • What is my part in the Global Mission of the Church?


Class Schedule for 2008
All four base classes will be offered at various times. The schedule for 2008 is as follows:

1st Semester (2 hr. Classes) Sundays from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

101 - 01/06 and 01/13
201 - 01/20 and 01/27
301 - 02/03 and 02/10
401 - 02/17 and 02/24

2nd Semester (4hr. Classes) Sundays from 4:00 - 8:00 pm
101 - 09/07
201 - 09/14
301 - 09/21
401 - 09/28
